South Stack Lighthouse

Combination between dark cloudy, shower, big wind and occasionally sunlight in South Stack Lighthouse. That stairs to the lighthouse looks easy on the picture, on the contrary, it takes me good amount of energy to climb back.

Punch & Judy

This is popular view from Britain sea side, children gathering in circle to see puppet show called "Punch and Judy".
Punch and Judy is a popular British glove-puppet show for children, featuring Mr. Punch and his wife Judy. The performance consists of a sequence of short scenes, each depicting an interaction between the anarchic Mr. Punch and one other character (the show is traditionally performed by a single puppeteer, known as a Professor, who of course can only perform two characters at a time).
Punch wears a jester's motley, is hunchbacked and his hooked nose almost meets his curved jutting chin. He carries a stick, as large as himself, which he freely uses upon all the other characters in the show. He speaks in a distinctive squawking voice, produced by a contrivance known as a swazzle or swatchel which the Professor holds in his mouth, transmitting his gleeful cackle— "That's the way to do it". So important is Mr. Punch's signature sound that it is a matter of some controversy within Punch and Judy circles as to whether a 'non swazzled' show can be considered a true Punch and Judy Show.
What a tradition ... :P

ONE & FIVE

I can only say this two pictures are amongst my best pictures. I won online competition with 'Five' pictures (but i forgot which one). They are not staged, i took them inside Tate Building in London, it was summer sunset and the light was very strong going through inside the big windows and created such a beautiful silhouette, the light  was only last for 5 minutes.
I prefer the left one, but i guess the right picture have more impact to the people. which one you choose ?

starring at me

One of my earliest pictures of my daughter, Sandra. it was taken when she was 2.5 years old. Its a simple picture, but totally different to how she looks in reality. She appeared more grown up than she should be. Its amazing how a picture can change your perspective ..

Before The Storm

The Weather in England  is well known with cloudy , shower, not much sun. I got used to this moody weather anyway and no complain at all, in fact i enjoy it, its so different with the place where i came from which have  tropical weather. Storm and high rain are not as many as we have in equatorial place.
On the rare occasion i catch storm just before it happen. In the picture, this poor dog is trying take cover from big winds. Picture is taken at Southwold, Suffold, England.

Opening Blog (Storm at Mont St. Michel)

Welcome to my PhotoBlog

One of my oldest photo, taken May 2004 at Mont St. Michel, France.
it was sunset time, and i was on the way to take night photography  when suddenly the storm hit the area. The rain and the winds were so strong and i couldn't get off from my car. I watched the sunset inside the car, and can only take the picture from behind my car front windows.
i love the sensation of splashing rain on the windows gives effect to this picture.
